Before You Invest in Another Solution
Most organisations begin with solutions.
I prefer to begin by understanding the problem.
Every organisation is changing.
AI is changing work. Technology is changing processes. Business models are evolving. Roles are being redefined.
Organisations are investing significantly to help their people keep up. Yet one important question often goes unasked.
Are we solving the problem that really needs to be solved?
When people struggle to perform differently, the immediate response is often:
“Let's organise a training programme.”
“Let's build an e-learning programme.”
“Let's conduct an AI workshop.”
Sometimes those are exactly the right decisions. But sometimes they aren't.
The challenge may not be knowledge. It may not even be learning. The real challenge could lie somewhere else.
Before Choosing a Solution
It may be worth pausing to ask:
- What has actually changed?
- What do people need to do differently?
- What is preventing that today?
- Is this a knowledge gap, a capability gap, a process issue, a leadership issue, or something else?
- How will we know that the problem has actually been solved?
These questions may appear simple. Yet they often change the direction of the entire conversation.
Why I Begin with Questions

Founder, Eduturn Creative Solutions LLP
For the past 21 years, I've worked across industries and geographies helping organisations solve complex workforce capability challenges. Today, through my independent practice, I continue doing what I enjoy most: helping organizations and people solve meaningful challenges and evolve for what's next.
My experience spans learning, digital transformation, instructional design and AI-enabled workforce solutions.
One lesson has remained constant.
My work doesn't begin with a solution. It begins by understanding the problem well enough to recommend the right solution.
Sometimes the answer is learning. Sometimes it's performance support. Sometimes it's manager enablement.
Sometimes it's redesigning the way people work. Sometimes AI becomes part of the solution. Sometimes it doesn't.
The solution depends on the problem, not the other way around.
Let's Continue
the Conversation.
If this perspective resonates with a challenge you're currently facing, I'd be happy to spend 15 minutes understanding your situation.
No presentation. No obligation. No sales pitch.
Just a thoughtful conversation.
